A—- is for “line A” of the Argentina Subway built in 1913 by the Anglo-Argentine Tramway Company. It is the oldest in Latin America containing many of the features of the original Anglo-Argentine Tramway and is therefore of historic importance for Argentina.
R—-is for the Religion of Argentina which is Roman Catholicism. One will undoubtedly witness expression of religious devotion as individuals perform the sign of the cross as they pass a church or related religious area.
G—-is for Gauchos who have been known to wander the pampas (countryside) of Argentina as early as the 1600’s. The habit of grilling meat ‘the Gaucho way, in an open fire, has become a national pastime. They are a definite symbol of argentine history and every citizen regards them highly.
E—-is for Eighth largest country in the world covering an area of 2.8 million square km, and is located in the southernmost part of South America.
N—-is for National emblems which include the Argentine flag which has three horizontal stripes: the one in the middle is white and bears the golden sun, and the two outside stripes are light blue. The National flower is the Ceibo, and the National stone is the Manganese Spar or “Inca Rose”.

T—-is for Tango from the remote origin on the streets of Monserrat, Tango has come a long way, enjoying popularity in many theaters. It is both a musical style and a dance that is dramatic and sexy.
I—-is for Independence from Spain in 1816 and Interference in subsequent governments because of a long period of Peronist authoritarian: This lead to an Increase in Immigrant population which greatly affected the culture of Argentina resulting in the lack of dominant Indigenous population and turning it mostly European.
N—-is for Northern Argentina’s less traveled areas in the provinces of Salta and Jujuy and a ride on the famous Train to the Clouds. Train of the Clouds is on the highest railroad in South America. This railroad, built in the 1930s, runs between Salta and the town of San Antonio de los Cobres climbing to reach 4,000 meters above sea level.
A—-is for Argentina is the fifth largest Agricultural exporter in the world. The Gross domestic product accounts for 60 percent of all of Argentina’s exports. The focus is on the production of cereal, oil grains and seeds, sugar, fruit, wine, tea, tobacco, and cotton. Argentina is considered one of the greatest food-producing and food-exporting countries of the world.
